Bertani was founded in 1857 by the Bertani brothers, Giovan Battista and Gaetano. Right from the start, they utilized the most advanced production techniques available, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The two brothers valued superb professionalism, quality control, entrepreneurship, and innovation, which made them immediately stand out on the Veronese scene. Bertani was among the first wineries in Italy to recognize the value of bottling wine. The family made significant investments to bottle and export Italian excellence worldwide.
