At the heart of Missoni's craft sits a secret: a historic loom, originally built for carpets, that the house quietly repurposed to create one of its most distinctive fabrics. The result is the Caperdoni, a highly intricate knit that carries both the flexibility of knitwear and the structure of woven cloth, rendered in the multicolored, textured zigzag patterns the house is known for. Join us at the New York boutique for an intimate exhibition and cocktail hour tracing the story of this singular fabric through archival garments, many rarely seen outside the Missoni archive.
