At the heart of Missoni's craft sits a secret: a historic loom, originally built for carpets, that the house quietly repurposed to create one of its most distinctive fabrics. The result is the Caperdoni, a highly intricate knit that carries both the flexibility of knitwear and the structure of woven cloth, rendered in the multicolored, textured zigzag patterns the house is known for.
